social mediaThe office of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio released an email on April 9, 2015 to begin a social media campaign designed to have New Yorkers lobby congress and spread the message for Infrastructure spending. In the message de Blasio states:

…without a strong federal partner, maintaining existing infrastructure and preparing for the future will simply be impossible. We’ll have to delay existing projects, cancel new ones, and create short-term fixes that are more expensive and less efficient than long-term solutions.

The City would like supporters to use the hashtag: #StandUp4Transportation
